FRC and FTC teams competing in the 2026-2027 FIRST season can apply for grants of $500 (FTC) or $1,000 (FRC). Priority is given to teams with strong PTC software usage plans, commitment to diversity, and teams with PTC mentors.
About this grant
PTC provides grants to FRC and FTC teams for the 2026-2027 season. FTC teams receive $500 restricted grants usable for any FIRST participation costs. FRC teams in the US receive $1,000 unrestricted grants; FRC teams outside the US receive $1,000 restricted grants. Priority is given to teams with strong PTC software usage, commitment to diversity, and PTC mentors. Accepted teams must display a PTC or Onshape logo on their robot and list PTC as a sponsor. FRC applications close September 27, 2026, with Round 1 decisions by October 16, 2026 and Round 2 decisions by January 8, 2027. FTC grants are now closed.
