Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative STEM Grant

Public and private schools, charter schools, church schools, home schools, and organizations within the service area serving grades K-12 can apply for up to $1,000 (or $100 for home schools) to purchase equipment or curriculum materials for academically-focused STEM and literacy projects.

About this grant

The STEM Grant funds equipment purchases and curriculum materials for science, technology, engineering, math, and literacy projects in K-12 classrooms. Projects must be academically focused, well-planned, and integrated activities. Funding is available to public schools, public charter schools, private schools, church schools, home schools, and organizations within the cooperative's service area. The grant does not fund travel expenses, field trips, guest speakers, entry fees, computers, monitors, iPads, t-shirts, promotional items, prizes, or meals. Applicants should submit completed applications 4-6 weeks prior to their anticipated need date. Supplies purchased become property of the school or organization and must remain within the school district.
