Grants of about $1,000 to North Carolina K-12 teachers for STEM equipment and projects, including robotics. One application per teacher, by email.

About this grant

The AFCEA North Carolina Chapter gives grants to K-12 teachers to buy lab supplies, hardware, software, projectors and other equipment for a new classroom STEM project, including robotics. Amounts vary and have been up to $1,000. Selection is competitive, based on merit, impact and applicability to STEM. One application per teacher, sent by email with descriptions and prices of the items. Teachers and principals are notified before May 15. Recipients are asked to send photos of the project in use.
