AIAA Foundation Classroom Grants
AIAA Foundation · Funder
K-12 classroom teachers who are current AIAA Educator Associate members can apply for grants up to $500 for STEM and aerospace educational projects in their classrooms.
About this grant
AIAA awards grants up to $500 per project to K-12 classroom teachers for STEM and aerospace education. Funded projects may include demonstration kits, STEM supplies, software, math materials, and robotics or flying object parts. The grant will not fund books for school-wide use, computer hardware, audiovisual equipment, competition fees, travel, promotional materials, teacher workshops, or museum admissions. Applications are evaluated on clarity, relevance to age-appropriate aerospace content, scope of skill-sets involved, sustainability and impact, pedagogical structure, and originality. Schools are limited to two grants per calendar year, and funds must be spent exactly as proposed.
