501(c)(3) nonprofits, fiscal sponsor organizations, and government entities in Mississippi's 22-county service area can apply for up to $5,000 to support innovative projects in placemaking, children and families, or community partnerships.
About this grant
The Community Impact Project Grants support innovative projects in three focus areas: Placemaking, Children and Families, and Community Partnerships. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, organizations with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, and governmental entities such as municipalities in the Foundation's 22-county service area. Projects must directly serve one or more of these counties: Adams, Attala, Amite, Claiborne, Copiah, Franklin, Hinds, Holmes, Jefferson, Lawrence, Leake, Lincoln, Madison, Pike, Rankin, Scott, Simpson, Smith, Walthall, Warren, Wilkinson, or Yazoo. Applications are submitted online through formississippi.org/grants, which also contains eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and funded project examples.
