About this grant
The Community Priority Grants program provides funding to organizations responding to one or more community priorities in the Foundation's Five-Year Action Plan, with a focus on inclusiveness, accessibility, and addressing inequities. Applicants must be nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations located in Rhode Island, though out-of-state organizations serving Rhode Islanders may apply. The program uses a two-stage process: a brief rolling pre-application followed by a full application if there is a good match. The program does not fund individuals, for-profit entities, event sponsorships, or capital projects. Organizations can receive one grant per 12-month period, and grantees must submit a final report on project outcomes.
