Wyoming Community Foundation Competitive Grant (Fall Cycle)

Wyoming Community Foundation · Funder

Wyoming nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status can apply for general operating or project/program funding. Most awards range from $1,000 to $10,000.

About this grant

The Competitive Cycle is Wyoming Community Foundation's flagship grant program accepting applications for all types of grant purposes, including general operating or project/program funding. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) exemption, and occasionally public/governmental agencies and other charitable exempt organizations. Most grants awarded are between $1,000-$10,000, with other amounts considered. The foundation gives priority to organizations addressing identified community needs, partnering with others, and using WYCF funding to obtain additional support. Low priority is given to block grants, capital campaigns, annual campaigns, debt retirement, and one-time special events. The foundation cannot support lobbying efforts or give grants to individuals. Organizations may receive full funding, partial funding, or be denied, and grantees should skip the next cycle before applying again.
