About this grant

The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation funds nonprofits addressing basic human needs, community vitality, education, and environmental stewardship. Grants support both programmatic and operational costs. The foundation does not fund tangible benefits, individuals, religious programs, fraternal or political organizations, or projects outside its service areas. Applications are submitted online through Benevity and are accepted during two grant cycles annually. Organizations must have completed 501(c)(3) status and a Benevity cause profile with current Self-Certification Declaration before applying. Decisions are announced at the end of each cycle, and funds are disbursed the following month via Benevity.
