About this grant
Grants of $20,000 or less, accepted year-round on a rolling basis, in three focus areas: vibrant economies (including workforce training for jobs in the energy economy), local resiliency, and community opportunity. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) public charities or governmental entities, including school districts, serving communities that Duke Energy also serves. Individual K-12 schools and organizations that operate within one school are not funded; school grants are considered at the district level. Applicants contact their state representative before applying.
