About this grant
Entergy provides rolling micro grants up to $1,000 for eligible organizations in their service areas to support arts and culture, community improvement or enrichment, economic development, education and literacy, environment, and healthy families. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits, schools, hospitals, governmental units, religious institutions with similar nonprofit status, state/local governments (for public purposes only), war-veterans organizations (501(c)(19)), and volunteer fire departments (501(c)(4)). The funder does not support payment of utility bills, political candidates, purchase of uniforms/equipment/trips for school-related organizations or amateur sports teams, religion-promotion activities, grants to individuals, loans, or organizations owned by Entergy employees. Applications are submitted online and require submission at least three months before funds are needed, with review and notification taking 8 to 12 weeks.
