About this grant
This grant supports new FIRST Tech Challenge teams in Ontario with three funding options: a complete starter kit with robot and control system (valued at $2,230), a control system plus $400 cash (valued at $1,450), or $750 in cash. Teams must register for the 2026–27 season and agree to coach a team and participate in a qualifying tournament between November and February. The application deadline is February 28, 2027. Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis subject to available funding and program review.
