About this grant

More than half the team must be middle-school age, and half or more must be underrepresented in STEM, low income, in a Title 1 school or in a rural area. Rookie teams and teams moving from FLL or VEX V5RC get $4,000 for team and event registration, electronics, build and driver kits, hand tools and a partial field set. Returning veteran teams get $2,600 for team and event registration. Teams must compete in at least two league meets and the league tournament.
