About this grant

High Tech Kids provides reimbursement grants to Minnesota FIRST teams to help with participation costs. Teams must be comprised of Minnesota youth and must participate in a High Tech Kids event; funds are awarded after the event via electronic ACH transfer. The grant is open for the 2026-2027 season and uses a single common application form. Teams are asked to describe barriers to participation, diversity efforts, team composition, and how the grant would impact their ability to participate.
