501(c)(3) organizations and schools in the United States can apply for grants to support music education, recording innovation, STEM/STEAM programs for students in challenging situations, or medical research on hearing impairment and tinnitus. First-time grants typically range from $1,500 to $2,000.

About this grant

The foundation awards grants to programs and projects that encourage innovation in music production and performance, innovative STEM and STEAM programs for students and others in challenging situations, and medical research related to curing tinnitus and hearing impairment. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) public charities located and operating in the United States; the foundation does not fund religious, political, labor, or business organizations, nor does it fund individuals. All proposals must describe how Les Paul's story will be shared as part of the program. Applications are accepted twice yearly with two deadline cycles (January 15 and September 15), and organizations may only file one grant request per calendar year. Successful organizations must submit a final grant report within the following cycle timeline.
