About this grant
The Maryland Robotics Grant Program funds Local Education Agencies, public schools, and nonprofit organizations (with 51%+ public school student members) to develop and expand robotics programming aligned with Maryland K-12 Computer Science Standards and Standards for Technological and Engineering Literacy. Funds may be used for robotics kits and equipment, instructor hiring, curriculum development, faculty stipends for events, transportation for competitions, and registration fees. Funds may not be used for construction, food, administrative equipment, building rental, or salary supplementation. Applications are reviewed for eligibility, commitment to access, program impact, feasibility, geographic location, and applicant capacity.
