NASA FRC Sponsorship Grant 2027
NASA Robotics Alliance Project · Funder
FRC rookie teams and eligible year-two teams in the United States can apply for funding to cover registration costs for their first regional or district competition in the 2027 season. Awards cover registration fees sent directly to FIRST.
About this grant
NASA provides sponsorship grants to prioritize rookie FRC teams and eligible year-two teams. The grant covers registration costs for the first regional event or district registration, with funds sent directly to FIRST to credit team accounts. Rookie teams that meet all requirements become eligible for a second year of funding. Year-two teams must secure $5,000 in corporate funds and commit to mentoring another team. All awarded teams must complete student entrance and exit surveys, provide a letter of institutional support, submit an annual report essay, and complete a functioning robot for competition. The program is limited to teams in the United States and only supports FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), not other robotics programs.
