501(c)(3) nonprofits and school districts serving Chelan or Douglas counties can apply for up to $1,000 to fund youth programs that provide opportunities youth might not otherwise afford, with special consideration for programs serving many youth or removing financial barriers.
About this grant
The grant funds programs that directly benefit youth aged 18 and under in Chelan and Douglas counties. Eligible uses include field trips, afterschool activities, program supplies and materials, transportation, event admission or scholarships, food and clothing, and equipment improving youth safety or accessibility. Applications are accepted year-round with review periods in July, November, and March. Nonprofit organizations must be 501(c)(3) with annual operating expenses under $250,000 (schools exempt), and school applications are limited to one per building plus one district-wide request.
