Schools, colleges, PTOs, and community or non-profit groups in the Pioneer Valley can apply for mini-grants to support STEM Week events, classroom projects, or need-based material requests. Awards range from $500 to $2,000 depending on the category and eligibility.

About this grant

The Pioneer Valley STEM Network offers three mini-grant programs: (1) STEM Week events and activities (up to $2,000 for public events, $1,000 for private events) in October; (2) classroom projects and materials for K-12 STEM teachers ($500 for K-6, $1,000 for 7-12); and (3) need-based classroom materials for Title 1 schools, Gateway schools, and schools serving emerging multilingual learners (up to $1,000). Funds cannot be used for food or catering. Applications are submitted via Google Form with project descriptions, budgets with justification, and success metrics. STEM Week proposals are due September 15, 2026; other requests are considered rolling until funds are depleted. Awardees must report results within 6 months.
