Michigan school districts and registered nonpublic schools can apply for grants to support robotics competition teams, covering event registrations, materials, travel, and other competition-related expenses.
About this grant
This grant funds robotics competition expenses for Michigan school districts, intermediate districts, and registered nonpublic schools. Eligible teams must be registered with a team ID in the Robofest Registration system. Nonpublic schools may use funds for either robotics or Science Olympiad programs. Awards are provided to teams that advance to the next competition levels, with the department determining an equal amount per advancing team. Applications are submitted through NexSys and require submission of a district accumulative budget. An assurance stating all provided information is true and accurate must be included.
