Nonprofits, public schools, and state/municipal organizations can apply for funding to support STEM education and workforce readiness programs in underserved communities. Award amounts vary by facility and are available through two fixed cycles a year (May 1 and October 1).
About this grant
Toyota funds STEM education and workforce readiness programs nationally, with regional contributions for local community needs. Applicants must be Section 501(c)(3) nonprofits, state/municipal organizations, or public schools that serve underresourced communities and comply with Toyota's Non-Discrimination Policy. The funder does not support athletic teams, political activities, capital campaigns, endowments, or organizations serving only members. Applications are submitted online; some facilities (Plano, Texas-based entities) are invitation-only. Each facility has different deadlines, and organizations can receive only one grant per twelve-month period.
