About this grant
UCOR awards mini-grants to K-12 educators in nine East Tennessee counties (Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane, Scott, and Union) for STEM projects or related arts projects with STEM aspects. Grants are available at three levels: $750 for a single classroom, $1,000 for multiple classrooms, and $1,500 for an entire school. Schools can submit multiple applications. Applications should focus on STEM relevance; related arts teachers may apply for projects exploring the lives of scientists or materials for problem-solving. The online application is submitted through the UCOR website, and winners are notified by April 30.
