About this grant
The Yawkey Foundation funds direct programs and services through three types of grants: Program & Small Capital Grants, Strategic Investment Grants, and Transformational Capital Grants. All applicants must first complete an online Eligibility Quiz, then submit an Initial Proposal. The foundation does not fund staff positions, emergency response, events, conferences, scholarships, early education, or programs benefiting individuals primarily outside the US. Organizations may submit only one Initial Proposal per calendar year. Previously unfunded organizations are encouraged to start with Program & Small Capital Grants before applying for Strategic Investment or Transformational Capital funding.
