About this grant
The Sheltering Arms Foundation funds youth development programs in Minnesota for children ages 5-12, covering social, emotional, physical and academic development with family engagement. Eligible programs are out-of-school-time and mentoring programs in school, community or affordable-housing locations, held before or after school. Applicants must contact Foundation staff before applying and submit through the online application system. Staff and the Grants Committee review in February and March; the Board decides at its May meeting and payments begin in July.
